This policy describes how the Mangobook apps handle information on Android and iOS.
Summary
Mangobook is a farm-management app. On iPhone you sign in with Apple or Google. On Android you sign in with Google. Your farms, people, and money records are stored in your private Mangobook workspace. Mangobook does not sell your data and does not share your farm records with other Mangobook users.
Information we collect
Account information — name and email from Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, used to create and identify your Mangobook account. Apple may provide a private relay email if you hide your address.
Profile name — the name you set in the app.
Farm records you enter — farm and crop names, activity, wages, payments, balances, notes, and optional worker or partner phone numbers.
Voice input — if you tap the microphone, the device converts speech to help enter an amount. Audio is not stored on Mangobook servers.
Usage analytics and diagnostics — on Android release builds, predefined feature events and sanitized crash reports may be sent to Firebase. Farm names, person names, money amounts, notes, and tokens are never included. Debug builds do not send this data. iOS does not currently send analytics or crash reports.
How data is stored and transmitted
Both apps need internet access to sign in and to save or load records.
Workspace data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) in the Asia (Mumbai) region and is protected by row-level security so only your signed-in account can read or change it.
Analytics and crash reports on Android release builds are sent to Firebase.
Device, iCloud, or Android backup may include app data depending on your device settings.
Sharing
Mangobook does not sell personal or financial data. Apple (Sign in with Apple on iPhone), Google (sign-in, and Firebase on Android), and Supabase act as processors to provide the app. We do not use advertising identifiers.
Permissions
Internet — required for sign-in and cloud storage.
Microphone — optional, only when you choose voice entry.
Children
Mangobook is intended for adults managing farm operations and is not directed at children under 18.
Deleting your data
See Delete account and data. Uninstalling the app without deleting your account leaves server-held records in place until you delete the account.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when that happens.
